What We Do

Counseling services for children who have been abused are provided by professional therapists with specific training and experience in child trauma. Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers, under the direction of CASA staff, work with the family court judge to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. Child abuse prevention education programs and age-appropriate materials are provided to elementary children through partnerships with area schools. Additional programs assist children and families through legal proceedings against a perpetrator and provide community awareness on issues related to child abuse.
